Schnur's Freudian Analysis of the GOP

Some political food for thought by the great Dan Schnur but be sure to read the entire piece as it talks about the +/-'s of running positive/negative campaigns.

"Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney have now established themselves as the id and the ego of the Republican Party. Romney represents the ultra-organized, overly measured and methodical aspect of the Republican establishment, while Gingrich is hyper-instinctual and visceral, the untrammeled raw impulses of the conservative movement’s emotional core incarnated. (For those of you keeping track at home, that makes Rick Santorum the party’s demanding and moralizing super-ego and Ron Paul, perhaps, its super-id.)"
